8:30 AMWarZone Airsoft Walk OnWayne's World of Paintball, OcalaSports

Celebrate Halloween with a full day of airsoft hosted by War Zone Airsoft, featuring a seasonal twist on gameplay and a $15 entry special. A costume contest is part of the fun, and the top outfit earns a free game day. Players can gear up with on-site rentals. The entry-level package, priced at 25 dollars, includes a Mod-M or Mod-L AEG, one high capacity magazine, a bag of 1,000 Valken 0.20 g BBs, a 9.6 volt lithium battery, and an M1-3 thermal mask. The advanced package, at 45 dollars, comes with a Kilo or Tango AEG, two high capacity magazines, a 2,200 round bottle of STRYKER 0.25 g BBs, a 7.4 volt lipo battery, an M1-7 thermal mask, and a STRYKER chest rig. Add-on rentals are available, including a 9.6 lithium battery for 10 dollars, an M1-3 thermal mask for 10 dollars, a high cap magazine for 5 dollars, and a STRYKER chest rig for 20 dollars. Safety and fair play are central to the experience. Full seal eye protection meeting ANSI Z87.1 or higher is mandatory on the field at all times. Keep masks and protective gear on in play areas, call hits with honesty, avoid blind firing, and do not move or climb obstacles. When tagged, announce the hit, display a red dead rag, and head to respawn. Maintain respectful conduct, involve a referee if issues arise, and note that physical contact is prohibited and may result in ejection and further action. Firing modes are announced by referees each round. All replicas must pass a chronograph check prior to play, with random checks possible, and suspected hot guns should be reported. In the safe zone, clear the replica, remove the magazine, switch to safe, and fire a few clearing shots into a safe backstop before removing face protection. Referees have the final say. Age-based protection is required. Players 10 to 15 must use full face protection. Players 16 to 17 need full seal eye protection with mesh or plastic lower face coverage. Players 18 and older must use full seal eye protection, with additional face protection encouraged. Red dead rags are required for everyone and are available for purchase on site. Rental users must run approved BBs or BBs purchased from War Zone Airsoft. Chronograph standards use at least 0.32 g BBs for HPA and 0.20 g BBs for pistols, AEGs, and spring-powered replicas. Rate of fire is capped at 25 rounds per second. Class limits and engagement distances apply. Pistols must be under 1.45 joules with 0.20 g BBs, with no minimum engagement distance in semi and a 25 foot minimum in full auto. Shotguns must be under 1.45 joules with 0.20 g BBs, with no minimum in semi and a 50 foot minimum in full auto. Rifles are capped at 1.5 joules with 0.20 g BBs for AEGs and 1.55 joules with 0.32 g BBs for HPA, typically carry a 10 foot minimum in semi unless adjusted by the head referee, and full auto is enabled only in specific games. SMGs must be 1 joule or below with 0.20 g BBs, use mid cap magazines, have no minimum in semi and a 25 foot minimum in full auto, and must be true SMG platforms or fully automatic sidearms. LMGs must be under 1.5 joules with 0.20 g BBs, use burst fire with a 25 foot minimum, reserve full auto for 50 feet, and should not be walked in full auto unless the platform can also fire in semi. DMRs are limited to 2.0 joules with 0.20 g BBs, operate in semi only, keep a 75 foot minimum, and use mid or real cap magazines. Sniper platforms are bolt action only, capped at 2.25 joules with 0.20 g BBs, and have a 100 foot minimum. Grenade use follows specific guidelines. Only pyrotechnic and smoke grenades sold at the field are permitted, and only in designated areas. Homemade devices are not allowed. Throws should be underhand and never directed at a person, though lobbing into windows is allowed. Grenades have a 15 foot effect radius, hard cover only negates effects in milsim scenarios, and a detonation inside a room eliminates all players in that room. Expect a festive atmosphere, straightforward pricing, and clear rules designed to keep the action safe and enjoyable for players of all experience levels.
