9 AMFree Saturday Park Pack Walk & SocializationBob Gardner Community Park, Bradenton
Devoted Canine Training hosts a free, casual pack walk at Bob Gardner Community Park in Lakewood Ranch for dog owners of all experience levels who want to strengthen leash manners and practice calm, neutral behavior around other dogs. The walk uses real community trails and emphasizes loose leash skills, staying focused amid everyday park activity like disc golf, runners, and playground noise, and building confidence in a structured environment with support from a professional trainer and friendly Q&A. Plan to meet by the main pavilion and trailhead entrance near the playground, and look for the trainer with a treat pouch. Bring your dog on a standard flat collar, martingale, or harness with a short leash rather than a retractable one, along with high value treats, water, and waste bags. For safety, allow at least 6 to 8 feet of space between teams, and avoid nose to nose greetings or on leash play so that nervous or easily distracted dogs can stay comfortable. All friendly, leashed dogs are welcome, and the event is free to the community.
