9:30 AM2026 Tucson Walk for ApraxiaCanada Del Oro Riverfront Park, Oro ValleyFreeHealth & Wellness

The 2026 Tucson Walk for Apraxia is set for Riverfront Park, bringing the community together to celebrate Apraxia Stars and raise awareness of childhood apraxia of speech. Organizers plan a safe, fun, and memorable experience for teams of supporters, with additional details to be shared on the local Walk website as they become available. Registration is free. Participants can work toward individual fundraising incentives, including this year’s Walk t-shirt, and registered walkers who raise $50 earn the official 2026 shirt. Each Apraxia Star is honored individually and receives a t-shirt, medal, and certificate in recognition of their hard work. Funds raised support the programs of Apraxia Kids, whose mission is to strengthen the support systems in the lives of children with apraxia of speech by educating professionals and families, fostering community engagement and outreach, and investing in the future through advocacy and research. The Walk brings together parents, family members, and professionals to connect, fundraise, and provide a space where families and Apraxia Stars feel understood and supported. It is the largest apraxia awareness event in the country, helping more children find the care they need as awareness grows.

2 PMManual Cinema: The 4th WitchCentennial Hall, TucsonTheater

Manual Cinema reimagines Shakespeare’s Macbeth as a wordless shadow epic powered by live music. The story begins on the brink of war when a warlord’s army sweeps through a small town. A young girl escapes into an ancient forest, loses her family, and is taken in by a witch who teaches her the craft. As her abilities grow, so do her sorrow and her resolve to face the man who shattered her life. Told entirely with shadow puppetry and actors in silhouette accompanied by a live score, the performance draws viewers into a world of magic, grief, and retribution. Inspired by Macbeth yet told from a new perspective, it examines the lasting marks of conflict, the people history overlooks, and the cost of vengeance for those who survive. Presented at Centennial Hall in Tucson.
