7 PMGrounded GroovesOllies Skate Shop, LongviewFreeMusic

A community-driven drum circle gathers at Ollies Skate Shop in Longview, welcoming anyone who wants to make rhythm together. Bring a drum or any percussion instrument, or borrow a loaner while supplies last. Seating is limited, so a lawn chair is a good idea. Participation is free, with donations appreciated. No experience is needed, because everyone has rhythm. Drumming can engage both sides of the brain and help calm the nervous system. Play can be as simple as clapping or shaking a tambourine or maraca, or as involved as exploring a pan drum. Flow dancers and poi are welcome. Friends and good vibes are encouraged as everyone adds their sound to the groove.
