7 PMDJ ShadowTulips, Fort WorthMusic

DJ Shadow appears at Tulips FTW for a special celebration of his debut, Endtroducing, now marking three decades. For this tour he presents a set devoted entirely to that 1996 album, honoring a release that set a high bar for instrumental hip hop and sample-based composition. The performance also reflects the breadth of Josh Davis’s catalog, from collaborations with Run the Jewels, Nas, and De La Soul to albums like UNKLE’s Psyence Fiction, The Private Press and its single Six Days, The Outsider, The Less You Know, The Better, The Mountain Will Fall, Our Pathetic Age, and Action Adventure. Rooted in deep listening, tireless digging, and a constant drive to evolve, his approach highlights layers of sound that reward close attention and continue to reveal new details with every play.
