Now in its eighth year, this community 5K and family celebration in partnership with the Lakeside DFW community supports Ally’s Wish and the families it serves. The day focuses on movement, memory-making, and a strong sense of togetherness. Participants can take part in a 5K run or a 1-mile family fun run, and enjoy a dress-up contest, a dog costume contest, face painting, balloon animals, and bounce houses. The event helps create lasting memories for mothers facing terminal illnesses while raising children.

Volunteers from the Kiwanis Club of Coppell will support neighbors facing hunger by serving at Metrocrest Services’ Client Choice Pantry. Efforts in the pantry help the organization provide more than 10,000 meals each day, and volunteers are essential to keeping services running smoothly. Wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for indoor work such as a t-shirt with jeans or shorts. Park in volunteer-designated areas and leave the row closest to the pantry for clients. Enter through the double sliding doors beneath the Pantry sign to check in on the tablet, then store personal items in the provided lockers. Group leaders are encouraged to share these details with their teams. If plans change, cancel your spot so another volunteer can serve, and note that three missed shifts may lead to dismissal. Bring any time log that needs verification if you require proof of hours.

C4 Frisco brings together cars, coffee, cigars, and community on the last Saturday of each month. This free, all-ages meet takes place in the Industrial Cigar Co. parking lot and centers on conversation and a relaxed start to the day. Expect a diverse lineup that spans exotics, classics, and modern muscle, with Indian Motorcycle joining the scene as well. Cigars are available inside the shop, and they may be enjoyed outdoors if you remain 25 feet from neighboring business entrances. Display vehicles must register through the Park Up Front app to park around the building. If you are not showing a car, please park on the south side of the ICC building and avoid parking near the Snookered Billiards building to the north. Tickets are for attendance only.
