7 PMPickman’s Model ~ Live Horror PaintingLe Chat Noir, Augusta
A collaborative live horror painting experience unfolds within the Black Cat Carnival, created by Artzilla, Dr. Sketchy's Anti Art School Augusta, and Le Chat Noir. In an atmosphere of frayed nerves and fevered imagination, artists set to work depicting a grisly narrative and the lurking terror that cannot be seen. An artists' studio is transformed by Le Chat Noir's special effects and scenic team into a haunting tableau that centers on the victim of an unseen calamity, while Artzilla painters translate that menace onto canvas in real time. Attendees can observe the process, bid on artwork, and, for the especially curious, contribute to a collaborative piece guided by Dr. Sketchy's. The experience nods to visions that push beyond ordinary limits of nature, capturing horrors just out of sight.
