At Soule Homestead, children can enjoy a farm-themed story time that pairs animal encounters or wildlife learning with a read-aloud and a hands-on craft. The program is created for ages 2 to 5, and siblings are welcome. It runs for one hour and follows a drop-in format with no pre-registration. Bring a blanket for story time or relax on the grass, and feel free to pack a lunch for a picnic after the session. Restrooms, a water fountain, and a baby changing station are available in the barn. Soule Homestead operates as an organic working farm, so shoes are required for everyone at all times and bug spray is encouraged since the farm does not spray. Please park using the second driveway near the goats and check in at the barn. Admission is free for members and 5 dollars per child for non-members. Member benefits cannot be applied to purchases for non-members, and proceeds support the preservation of Soule Homestead.
